EAST TEXAS BOMBERS

Roller Derby League

The East Texas Bombers Roller Derby League was originally established in 2005 and has called a few East Texas cities home. In 2015, ETXB officially moved to Lufkin, Texas. We currently have skaters from Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and surrounding areas.

Roller derby is currently the fastest growing sport in the world and is well on its way to becoming an Olympic Sport. The Bombers follow Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Rules and guidelines. Our team is made up of professionals from diverse backgrounds all over East Texas, and we are often referred to as the nicest ladies in derby. We strive to promote the athletic and competitive value of women’s roller derby through community service, good sportsmanship and dedication to women’s empowerment.

We seek to expand awareness of our sport along with the grace and confidence of women through league bouts, events, and other community outreach programs. We provide positive role models and improve East Texas through the support of non-profits. A portion of our ticket sales is given to a different charity for each home game.  Members encourage trust and demonstrate mutual respect towards each other to further grow and maintain excellence within, as well as outside our member base. Our sport is unique, fun, and family friendly.

Our main charitable focus as a non-profit 501 (c) 4 is the support and awareness of military and veteran issues, particularly in the local community.
